LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: When Katy Perry arrived at Westminster Abbey for the much-anticipated Coronation of King Charles III, she made a statement in a bright pink costume, but she made an awkward mistake while finding her seat. Many fans praised Katy Perry as "magnificent" as she arrived at the famous Westminster Abbey event with British Vogue editor Edward Enninful.

Katy chose an outfit that matched the pomp and circumstance of the royal event. She went for a stylish pink skirt suit with a jacket and hat in matching colors. A lilac flower corsage was fastened to the blazer's lapel, which also included dainty buttons, a fitted waist, and other feminine detailing, as per reports.

Her skirt benefited from a stylish midi length and fitted design. The actress accessorized nicely as well, choosing a hat that would be appropriate for both a royal wedding and Royal Ascot, but her huge hat became the target of trolls watching the coronation.

The pop star struggled to locate her seat, but fortunately, her fans found humor in the gaffe. When she could finally sit down, not everyone was impressed as her enormous hat obscured the view of those behind her.

A different user  mocked her hat and her struggle to find the seat and wrote, "Basically Katy Perry and her huge hat at the #Coronation searching for her seat." Another user slammed her and wrote, "There should be a rule on how big a hat that can be worn by those lucky enough to attend the Coronation. Katy Perry is wearing one big enough to block the view for all behind her."

Katy will sing at the concert honoring King Charles III and Queen Camilla's Coronation on Sunday, May 7. The event will be held at Windsor Castle. Several legendary performers, such as Take That and Lionel Richie, will join her, as reported by GoodhouseKeeping.
