American Idol' 2023: Country singer Cody Winkler from Texas dazzled Luke Bryan with soulful voice
MARION, TEXAS: 'American Idol' Season 21 has started its journey with a blast, giving the first platinum ticket to Tyson Venegas. Some of the premiere night singers took the judges by surprise with their soulful voices, while others made them go teary-eyed with their performance. Churning out the best voices from Las Vegas, Nevada, New Orleans, Louisiana, and Nashville, Tennessee, ABC's singing competition show surprised the viewers with their beautiful harmonies.
The panel judges, Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie, return for 'American Idol' Season 21 Episode 2 of the show. Once again, we will see singers coming from all walks of life and from all over the country. Katy Perry claims, "They (the singers) really represent the fabric of America, and they’re all coming together, and they really are so unified." Well, the singer who will make Bryan come out of his seat and play for him as he sings is Cody Winkler. Cody Winkler is a Marion, Texas, native. He got his basic education in his own city. Cody pursued his degree at Texas A&M University. ABC has dropped a photo on the internet where we can see Cody standing near Bryan on the stage. Bryan is seen playing the guitar while Cody sings his country song. Seeing the photo, it seems that the singer is going to impress the judges with his artistic voice. The star uploaded a photo of himself on social media where he is seen wearing a white shirt with black prints on the sleeves and collar area. Cody wrote "My American Idol!" as he posed near his guitar wearing the ranch black colored hat.
It is yet to be seen whether Cody will be able to impress the judges with his voice and secure a place for himself in the future or not.
