'AGT' Season 17 Live Show: Fans root for comedian Don McMillan, say 'would pay to see' him
PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: Stand-up comedy acts can be pretty tricky to judge with celebrity comedian Howie Mandel amongst the panel of judges on 'America's Got Talent'. So, during the auditions when Howie greenlit comedian Don McMillan to move onto the lives round, his fellow judge Simon Cowell wasn't too pleased.
Simon was far from impressed with McMillan's comedy set and thought that his fellow judges were crazy for putting him through to the next round. Despite receiving harsh criticism from Simon, McMillan remained unfazed and continued to prepare for the live round. Luckily for him, this time around his comedy routine was so good that Simon not only had to admit his mistake in judging him wrongly but also earned him a new set of fans who couldn't get enough of his extremely relatable yet hilarious jokes. In fact, fans loved McMillan's set so much that many of them began rooting for him to earn a spot amongst the final two from the lineup of 54 shortlisted acts.
