'AGT' Season 17 Live Show: Amazing Veranica's dog act wows judges, but fans say 'not a Vegas-worthy act'
PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: After being hailed as the 'best pet act' ever on 'America's Got Talent' by the judges- Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and Heidi Klum, it came as no surprise that Amazing Veranica and her crew of pet poodles made the cut to the coveted Lives Round.
If you thought that the audition round was intense, then the lives round is proving to be way more competitive as the lineup of 55 shortlisted acts vying for the coveted final two spots. Florida's very talented Amazing Veranica and her crew of incredible friends aka the admirable poodles took to the stage with the hopes of wowing the judges yet again. Veranica and her dogs managed to put on an exceptional animal act involving costume changes, walking on hindlegs, sliding down a slide, etc. While the judges were once again blown away by the amount of control that Veranica had over her pooches and how she trained them so well, sadly fans didn't share the same feeling. Though fans agreed that Veranica and her friends managed to put on a great show, many of them felt that it wasn't a 'Vegas-worthy' act though.

Another fan shared, "Cute but with only 2 spots... not a chance. #AGT." "Sorry but Veronica and the dogs will not get voted in. They got the death spot performing 2nd. And the act didn't step it up. The audition was more impressive #AGT," expressed a fan. "Dog acts are so tough because I feel in every one of them acts there's always a mistake and there were some in this act. It was fine but just an ordinary dog act nothing special. #AGT," pointed out a fan.
