When do the 'AGT' live shows air?

The live shows of 'AGT' Season 17 which will take place at the Pasadena Civic Center for six weeks are scheduled to air on Tuesday, Aug. 9 at 8pm to 10pm ET/PT on NBC, followed by the results will which air on Wednesday nights between 8pm to 9pm ET/PT.

Will the format be the same as the previous seasons?

Season 17 comes with an interesting twist, as the selected 55 acts will be divided and go through five live qualifying rounds. The power is certainly in the hands of the audience, seeing that voting is key. Each week, only two acts of the 11 that perform that week will move on to the finale. Out of two acts selected to move forward, the first act will be determined by the audience vote while the second will be chosen by the judges from among the performers who placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th that week. Finally, 10 finalists, along with a 'Final Wildcard' will battle it out on September 13 and 14 2022, to bag the coveted prize of $1 million and a chance to headline 'America’s Got Talent Las Vegas LIVE' at Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
