'AGT': Acapop Kids give moving tribute to Nolan Gibbons, fans say 'should've gotten the Golden Buzzer'
Even though Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum, and Terry Crews, handed out their Golden Buzzers to various performers during the auditions, 'America's Got Talent' fans felt that Acapop Kids deserved it as well.
The acapella group comprising of kids ranging from 12 to 17-year-old members, stepped onto the 'AGT' stage and revealed that they would be singing a song composed by one of their former members- Nolan Gibbons. In a montage dedicated to Nolan, his parents explained that the youngster was a very happy and cheerful kid. His death was classified as Sudden unexplained death in childhood (SUDC), as his death couldn't be explained and was unexpected. The group decided to honor him by performing his original song 'My Turn'.
