MOSCOW, RUSSIA: Paramount+ and Showtime's new historical drama series 'A Gentleman in Moscow', adapted from Amor Towles' novel of the same name, made its debut on Paramount+ with Showtime on Friday, March 29.

In Episode 2, Count Alexander Rostov (Ewan McGregor) obtains keys that grant him access to any door in the hotel. Episode 3 begins with Rostov spending time on the rooftop of the Metropol Hotel.

In 'A Gentleman in Moscow' Episode 3, titled 'The Last Rostov', viewers are offered a glimpse into Rostov's evolving mindset and the potential challenges he may face in the future.

In 'A Gentleman in Moscow' Episode 3, Rostov is depicted continuing his pursuit of Russian actress, Anna Urbanova (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), in the aftermath of their initial romantic interaction in Episode 2. However, Anna appears to be avoiding Rostov. Since their sexual encounter in episode 2, they haven’t spoken to one another.

As episode 3 progresses further, Rostov notices some room service being sent up to Anna's room and decides to take a chance. He plans to deliver the food himself and try to reconnect with Anna. It hints that Rostov may have developed feelings for Anna. Rostov has been making concerted efforts to capture Anna's attention, showcasing his determination to reconnect with her.

It appears that the feelings between Rostov and Anna may not be entirely one-sided, as Anna does not explicitly tell Rostov to leave her alone when he approaches her. Anna's behavior suggests that she may still have lingering feelings or interest in Rostov, leaving room for further development in future episodes.

During a moment shared over champagne, Rostov asks Anna why she never called him to her room again. Anna explains that she was always available, but Rostov never visited her. Anna's witty response indicates that she was also interested in him but expected Rostov to take the initiative in pursuing her.

In the upcoming episode, their relationship within the confines of the Metropol Hotel may come into focus.

Anna is a successful Russian actress, while Rostov is confined to the Metropol Hotel. This stark contrast in their circumstances highlights the challenges they may face in pursuing a relationship.

In the future, it may become increasingly challenging for Anna to find time for a man who is confined to a hotel. Anna, with her beauty and charm, attracts the attention of many suitors who are drawn to her allure. However, Rostov is trapped in the confines of the hotel, unable to step outside without risking his life.

It appears that their relationship may struggle to take off, and even if it does, it could be short-lived. Anna may find someone else who can offer her more than Rostov.

Anna's decision to stop talking to Rostov after their first sexual encounter suggests that she is not afraid to assert her independence and pursue other romantic interests. It would be intriguing to witness the evolution of Anna and Rostov's relationship.

'A Gentleman in Moscow' Episode 3 is now streaming on Showtime and Paramount+
