In 'A Gentleman in Moscow' Episode 3, Rostov receives devastating news that deeply affects him.

Mishka informs Rostov that his grandmother has died in England, without any ceremony held to honor her memory. Additionally, Rostov discovers that her ashes will be kept in exile.

Subsequently, Rostov decides to host a gathering at the Metropol to honor his grandmother's life. Despite extending invitations to his friends, Rostov is disappointed when none of them show up, except for Mishka.

The new authorities in Moscow have banned people from holding such ceremonies and events, making it too risky for anyone to attend such events.

For the first time in the series, viewers witness Rostov in a state of visible frustration, as he expresses his anger through yelling. It appears that Rostov's will to live is diminishing, particularly in light of the treatment that aristocrats face from the new authorities.

Shaken by his grandmother's death and heartbroken by the absence of any ceremony to honor her, Rostov is overcome by a profound sense of loss.

In the upcoming episode, he may voice his concerns and push for improved treatment, advocating for the dignity and rights of the aristocracy.

Additionally, Rostov may attempt to seek permission from the authorities to hold a ceremony for his grandmother and invite people to honor her memory.

Given the sadness and anger he experiences following his grandmother's death, Rostov may even contemplate drastic measures, such as taking his own life, should the new authorities in Moscow continue to disregard his grievances.

In 'A Gentleman in Moscow' Episode 3, Rostov is visibly upset by the new rules enforced by the Leninists.

This marks a significant shift in his demeanor, suggesting that Rostov is no longer willing to passively accept the changes brought about by the Leninists.

In previous episodes, Rostov typically greeted changes with humor and a cheerful attitude, but in episode 3, this is no longer the case.

He appears frustrated with the new rules imposed by the Leninists. In the upcoming episode, Rostov may begin to question the actions and new laws implemented by the Leninists.

Feeling increasingly isolated within the confines of the hotel, Rostov may find himself contemplating breaking some of the rules.

It's worth noting that Rostov has keys that could unlock any door in the hotel. He typically uses the key to access the rooftop.

However, in the next episode, he may once again use the keys to gain access to restricted areas, indicating a possible act of defiance.

He may use the keys to unlock doors and observe the activities of the Leninists, potentially uncovering secrets that could prove advantageous in his interactions with them.
