LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘Yellowstone’ universe is set to expand and we just got a glimpse of how the ‘Yellowstone’ ranch was established in the first full-length trailer of the upcoming prequel series ‘1923’. Starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren in the lead roles, the spin-off will be taking viewers back in time to let everyone know how the Duttons established the ranch and fought everyone who tried to cross the line with their family. The first trailer for the Paramount+ series is everything that viewers have been expecting it to be and is filled with moments that are dramatic as well as enthralling.

The trailer opens with a look at ‘Yellowstone' ranch and how it looks like the ranch has already gathered some popularity there. As the trailer moves forward, we get out first look at Mirren’s character, Cara Dutton, talking to someone who has acquired the ranch that is next to theirs, named Strafford Ranch. If you are a 'Yellowstone' fan, you know that you can’t trust your neighbors because people are ready to do anything for the land. However, something bigger is coming in the form of Range Wars and we have Jacob Dutton (Harrison Ford) at the center of it.

The best part of the trailer is that Jacob is not alone in the war, her wife Cara doesn’t look like a woman who would go down without a fight and she makes that clear by telling people that “this is Yellowstone ranch and you have no rights here.” As the clip moves forward, we get to know that the man who acquired the Strafford ranch known as Donald Whitfield has bigger ambitions because he wants to take the entire land under his ranch, including ‘Yellowstone’.

The trailer sees the Duttons getting ready for a war and Cara is undoubtedly someone that people wouldn’t want to mess with. “Men kill quickly with a bullet or a noose, but their fight is with me and I kill much slower," she says.

The trailer concludes with shots of multiple action sequences as tension rises between different clans. The final shot of the trailer sees the entire Dutton family standing together with Jacob telling his enemies, “You attack my family, it’s gonna be the last thing you ever do.”

‘1923’ looks like another riveting look at the Duttons and the Yellowstone ranch. The series has been created by Taylor Sheridan, who took the world by storm with ‘Yellowstone’. Apart from the Dutton Family, we also get to see a small glimpse of the Rainwater Family as well.

The series also stars Darren Mann (Jack Dutton), Sebastian Roche (Father Renaud), Michelle Randolph (Elizabeth Strafford), James Badge Dale (John Dutton Sr), Marley Shelton (Emma Dutton), Brandon Sklenar (Spencer Dutton), Robert Patrick (Sheriff William McDowell).

‘1923’ is set to premiere exclusively on Paramount+ on Sunday, December 18.
