'With You': Jimin's first OST becomes fastest to top iTunes in 100 regions, fans say 'BTS vs BTS'
With Jimin finally getting his first solo OST (original soundtrack), fans knew it was going to be extra special. The ongoing K-drama ‘Our Blues’ first turned heads for its star-studded ensemble cast that also included real-life couple Kim Woo-bin and Shin Min-ah for the first time. The drama is also giving a lot of first-time chances as aespa’s Ningning and Winter, and BTS’ Jimin got to lend their voices for their very first OSTs in the K-drama.
On April 24, BTS Jimin’s OST ‘With You’ was released which happens to be a duet with none other than his close friend Ha Sungwoon. The two had often revealed in the past that they had wanted to work together and ‘Our Blues’ ended up giving them that opportunity. Even the production was excited as they shared that Jimin and Sungwoon’s voices had meshed well to create a romantic OST for the K-drama. Well, it did that and more as it went on to create iTunes history.

Jimin and Sungwoon’s OST tops iTunes in 100 regions
It did not even take 24 hours for the track to break records as fans went all out to shower ‘With You’ with love and support. In less than five hours of the OST’s release, it debuted at #1 on the iTunes Worldwide Chart. Additionally, Jimin’s solo OST with Ha Sungwoon went on to top iTunes in 100 countries including countries like USA, UK, Japan and Singapore. This makes ‘With You’ the fastest song in iTunes history to get 100 #1s on this particular chart. And not surprisingly, this record was previously held by BTS’ 2020 single ‘Dynamite’ which took eight hours. With Jimin’s solo OST taking the baton from his own group song, fans were further impressed.
‘Unpromoted OST did that’
