'Willow' on Disney+: Actress Annabelle Davis posts hopeful message after show's cancellation
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Disney + returned to the magical land from the 1988's 'Willow' when in 2022, the network launched a TV series with the same name. Season 1 of 'Willow' garnered praise from both critics and audiences alike. However, Disney has decided to cancel the show after just one season. Now actor Annabelle Davis has shared her cherished memories on the show and shared a hopeful message about a possible future revival, telling fans "Until next time #Willow".
The Disney + series starred Warwick Davis as Willow Ufgood, Joanne Whalley as Sorsha and Rick Overton as Franjean. 'Willow was the most magical adventure'
Annabelle Davis, plays the role of Mims in two episodes. Anabelle worked together with her father Warwick Davis and brother Harrison Davis shared a heartfelt message about her journey into the world of 'Willow' after the Disney + show was cancelled. Annabelle started the thread by saying, "Willow was the most magical adventure." Anabelle then added by sharing her happiness in seeing her father don the iconic blue tunic dress and her joyous experience of working with her family.

Annabelle then went on to say how much she already misses the character Mims, who, Annabelle notes, bought back her zest for life. Annabelle also said she would miss the rest of the 'Willow' family and went on to thank the series developer Jonathan Kasdan for giving her the most incredible year of her life. She concluded her thread on a hopeful note that the series would not be the end of the story by recalling the series being released after 20 years of the release of the movie.
