A ‘Bridgerton’ star may join ‘Fourth Wing’ TV adaptation as fans spot Michael B. Jordan's cryptic clues

After a SAG Awards meet-up, Michael B. Jordan’s sudden social media activity has fans wondering if something bigger is brewing in the industry

‘Fourth Wing’ fans might want to sit down for this one. A familiar face from ‘Bridgerton’ could possibly make her way into the upcoming TV adaptation. The internet is convinced something might be brewing between Michael B. Jordan and Yerin Ha. During a chat with Elle, Yerin casually mentioned that she’d love to meet Jordan at the Actors Awards ceremony, and that's exactly what happened. Both actors ended up attending the official after-party following the 2026 Screen Actors Guild Awards, commonly known as the SAG Awards. A photo of them posing together from the event surfaced online, and shortly after, observers noticed something else. 

Jordan had started following Yerin on Instagram. That's not all, he also began tapping the like button on several of her posts. And that has piqued the internet's curiosity. Some viewers even claimed they noticed Jordan leaving fire emojis in the comments section of fans' TikTok clips of Yerin dancing. Of course, people follow each other on social media all the time. But online communities love patterns, which lead to several theories. 

Jordan is currently involved in developing the television adaptation of ‘Fourth Wing’, the popular fantasy novel by Rebecca Yarros. He’s attached as a producer on the upcoming project, and casting conversations for the show have already become a hot topic among fans. So some observers suspect he could be keeping an eye on potential talent. Basically: scouting. Adding more fuel to the conversation is a recent interview Yerin gave to Vogue Australia. During the discussion, she talked about her reading habits and favorite romantic tropes in books. That’s when she brought up ‘Fourth Wing’. The actress admitted, “I do love a fake dating to lovers trope. Okay, I am not a fantasy girl really, but I got on that ‘Fourth Wing’ train, and let me tell you I'm so on that train. I'm with it. I'm travelling with it. I'm going on it.”

She added, “I'm going on the journey, and we're all waiting for that fourth book, Rebecca. Yeah, that really changed my chemical brain. So, ‘Fourth Wing’ was pretty amazing. Yeah, that and that's an enemies-to-lovers kind of trope. So, yeah that trope is also very spicy.” Of course, this made fans speculate that she would be part of the upcoming title, with one of them saying, "Michael B Jordan trying to court Yerin Ha into doing fourth wing via Instagram likes and comments is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen." Another individual added, "Do you know what this means? Michael B. Jordan is making the series Fourth Wing and is looking for actors and actresses." A fan wrote, "MBJ is producing Fourth wing right? And Yerin loves fourth wing?? Whatever this is, I’ll take it," while another added, "put them in a movie together IMMEDIATELY." Notably, it’s worth remembering that all of this is just fan speculation for now. Neither actor has confirmed anything, so only time will reveal if any of the online theories are true.
