LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘XO, Kitty’ was the perfect amount of all things cheesy, filled with cliched tropes, love triangles, and some brilliant characters. This series presented itself with enough twists, turns, and cliffhangers to leave the viewers wanting more. As ‘XO, Kitty’ concluded with ten episodes, the question of another season has begun to surface and will continue to float around until Netflix renews the series.
While Netflix doesn’t have the best reputation when it comes to renewals, it did give a fair amount of attention to the movie series, ‘To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before,’ which ‘XO, Kitty’ is based on. So, one can only hope that the latter receives the same treatment, especially considering how the series ended. Everyone wants to know what’s next for Kitty Song Covey and her love life!

As of today, Netflix is yet to renew or cancel ‘XO, Kitty.’ Given the streaming platform’s track record with renewals, a worry looms over the fans of this new series going under the chopping block. Netflix has brutally canceled fan-favorite shows like ‘Lockwood and Co,’ ‘Warrior Nun,’ ‘Inside Job,’ and ‘Fate: The Winx Saga’ among several others. The fate of ‘XO, Kitty’ rests entirely in Netflix’s hands, but hopefully, there will be some news in the coming weeks. Kitty Song Covey might have had her first love and first kiss, but there’s still a long way to go!
What could happen in ‘XO, Kitty’ Season 2?
Should ‘XO, Kitty’ be renewed for another season, there are several routes that can be taken to further Kitty’s love life. For starters, the season could deal with the aftermath of ‘XO, Kitty’ Season 1 ending where Min Ho confesses his love for Kitty on a long plane journey. It will be interesting to see if ‘XO, Kitty’ Season 2 would possibly take place in America, or would the cast go back to Korea since that’s where all the other major characters are. We’re hoping for the latter!
In ‘XO, Kitty’ Yuri Han has tried to convince her mother to revoke Kitty’s expulsion, so it is entirely possible that Kitty will return to KISS for another semester. The dynamics have changed completely, which only makes more room for a lot more drama. From Yuri to Dae-heon Kim and Min Ho, all could potentially be Kitty’s love interests in ‘XO, Kitty’ Season 2, and that’s something everyone would want to see. In addition, Kitty and the viewers are eager to learn more about her mother, and the minor cliffhanger that presented itself in regard to that subplot. With the kind of ending ‘XO, Kitty’s first season had, it is possible that another season is on the way!
