Spoilers for ‘Bridgerton’ Season 4

LONDON, ENGLAND: The Netflix series Bridgerton, a historical romance about Regency England and a loving family, has announced renewals for Seasons 3 and 4 following the success of Seasons 1 and 2. Fans expect the series to continue its storyline in the order of the books; unfortunately, there might be bad news for them. The good news is that the release of 'Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story' is just around the corner and gives fans a new touch of royal romance.

Inspired by the book series by Julia Quinn, season 4 is expected to offer viewers an outstanding expansion of love stories and characters. Unfortunately, it has been confirmed that Regé-Jean Page and Phoebe Dynevor will not return to the series as Simon and Daphne.

'Bridgerton' Season 4 might not cover the book story by Julia Quinn

'Bridgerton' will make a comeback in 2023, focusing on the relationship of another Bridgerton sibling. Shonda Rhimes confirms that the story in Season 4 will likely cover the synopsis of the third book series, as Season 3 will be about the romance between Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington. However, there is a piece of sad news for Benedict fans. By changing the order of the books, the story of the eldest Bridgerton brother, Benedict, will be moved again to another season.

Cast of 'Bridgerton' Season 4

So far, the details of the cast are not yet known. In the meantime, it is likely that the original cast from Seasons 2 and 3 will return, including Jonathan Bailey as Anthony, Luke Newton as Colin, Nicola Coughlan as Penelope, Claudia Jessie as Eloise, Simone Ashley as Kate, Luke Thompson as Benedict and others. These characters are the main characters of the book series. However, an official announcement is yet to be made.



 

Why should Bridgerton Season 4 be the last one?

With just two seasons of 'Bridgerton' out on Netflix, viewers are anxious about the plot of Season 3, not to mention Season 4. Although Shonda has confirmed that more seasons will deviate from the books, much is still unclear about where the story will go in Season 4. Also, viewers are looking forward to the development of the characters in the series, which is the main reason for Bridgerton's success. There have been rumors about Daphne and Simon leaving the series. If more characters leave the series, there will not be much left after Season 4.

There is no official announcement yet about the release date of 'Bridgerton' Season 4. Let's wait for Netflix to release it or give a hint soon.
