'Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story': Netflix invites fans to a global teaser trailer unveiling event on Valentine's Day
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: This might turn out to be a very memorable Valentine's Day as Netflix is hosting an exclusive teaser trailer release event. The upcoming prequel of the hit Netflix show 'Bridgerton' will center on the life of a young Queen Charlotte. As fans wait with bated breath, the streaming giant took things up by a notch and is hosting a special event to release the first look of the prequel, that too on the day of love.
This will be no ordinary trailer drop, and Netflix is hosting a virtual royal event to celebrate the upcoming look at 'Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story'. 'Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story' is an upcoming limited series written by Shonda Rhimes for Netflix. It will be a limited series with six episodes and will premiere in 2023.

Not just a teaser trailer drop
Netflix has done many such trailer events in the past for 'Bridgerton', but this upcoming event is especially exciting since its making was announced way back in 2021. As per Netflix, the event will consist of activities, including the global premiere of the trailer along with some exclusive clips of the upcoming prequel. There will also be a live Q&A with stars from the show and creator/executive producer Rhimes, who also executive produces 'Bridgerton'. The questions are to be submitted while registering for the event online.
What is 'Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story' about?
Queen Charlotte, played by India Amarteifio will be the primary focus of the show. The series will revolve around the love story of Queen Charlotte and King George (Corey Mylchreest). It will show the audience Charlotte's early upbringing and her rise to power. As shown in the exclusive first look video of 'Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story', the prequel will also reveal George and Charlotte's first meeting. Some of the original cast members, including Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte), Adjoa Andoh (Lady Danbury) and Ruth Gemmell (Lady Violet Bridgerton), will appear in some capacity. Julia Quinn, the author of the book that inspired the show, is set to release a new prequel book alongside the show's debut.
