'The Lincoln Lawyer' just got a big win, and fans didn't even have to wait for the next season to hit play. Season 4 hasn't even premiered yet, and Netflix has officially given the green light to 'The Lincoln Lawyer' Season 5, as reported by ScreenRant. The show focuses on Mickey Haller, played by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo. He's a defense attorney who operates out of the back of his Lincoln instead of a corner office. Haller has been trying to piece his life back together after addiction nearly wiped it all out. He's smart, stubborn, and often exhausted, the kind of guy who keeps pushing forward even when the road keeps throwing potholes at him.

And that mix has kept viewers locked in since the series first arrived. Mickey's story has never been a solo act, though. His comeback is tied to the people orbiting his life, sometimes helping, sometimes complicating things. There's Izzy, his loyal driver, played by Jazz Raycole. Then there's Maggie, portrayed by Neve Campbell, his ex-wife and a prosecutor. Lorna, his other ex-wife, played by Becki Newton, and her fiancé Cisco, played by Angus Sampson, round out the inner circle. It's a messy setup. But it works. Season 4 is going to be a heavy chapter for the show, as it draws on 'The Law of Innocence' for its main storyline.

It's the sixth novel in Michael Connelly's popular book series. The upcoming season also brings many new faces. They include Cobie Smulders, Krista Warner, Elliott Gould, Jason O'Mara, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Marcus Henderson, Gigi Zumbado, Scott Lawrence, Lana Parrilla, Sasha Alexander, Kacey Montoya, Jason Butler Harner, Javon Johnson, Kyle Richards, and Nancy Silverton. Some will help. Some will absolutely not. Behind the scenes, showrunners and executive producers Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez are clearly feeling the momentum.

In a joint statement, the pair shared how energized they are about both the upcoming fourth season and the surprise early renewal. According to them, "We're so excited to share the upcoming fourth season with the audience on February 5th and even more excited to share the news that we're already hard at work on the next one. Season 4 is the most challenging and intensely personal journey we've taken Mickey Haller on yet, and we're thrilled and grateful to be able to continue the ride in season 5," as quoted by Variety

They also confirmed that work on Season 5 is already underway. That means the writers' room isn't slowing down anytime soon. While Season 4 is set to bring some of the show's most intense material yet, Season 5 will keep that energy going rather than offering a cooldown lap. For fans, that's a relief. For Mickey Haller, probably not. Furthermore, Netflix will release 'The Lincoln Lawyer' Season 4 on February 5, 2026. As for Season 5, there's no premiere date yet. Looks like Mickey Haller isn't parking that Lincoln anytime soon.
