‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ is officially returning to Netflix with a brand-new season, and Mickey Haller is heading into the fight of his life. The streamer has announced that season 4 of the hit legal thriller will premiere on February 5, 2026, as per Variety. Alongside the announcement, Netflix unveiled the first batch of photos from the new episodes, offering a tense look at what awaits the defense attorney who usually operates from the backseat of his Lincoln. This time around, Mickey Haller, played once again by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, finds himself on the opposite side of the system he’s spent his career managing. ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ Season 4 follows Mickey as he is arrested and charged with the murder of a former client, Sam Scales, forcing him into a desperate scramble to clear his name while his life and career hang in the balance. According to Netflix’s official synopsis, Mickey and his loyal team must retrace Scales’ last days to uncover the truth behind the conman’s final scheme. Their hunt for answers pits them against the district attorney’s office, federal investigators, and the emotional baggage Mickey hoped he’d left buried. Deadline reports that the upcoming season adapts the sixth installment in Michael Connelly’s ‘Lincoln Lawyer’ series, ‘The Law of Innocence.’
The returning ensemble cast includes Neve Campbell as Maggie McPherson, Becki Newton as Lorna, Jazz Raycole as Izzy, and Angus Sampson as Cisco. Season 4 also features Krista Warner, Elliott Gould, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Marcus Henderson, Gigi Zumbado, Scott Lawrence, Constance Zimmer, Lana Parrilla, Sasha Alexander, Cobie Smulders, Kacey Montoya, Jason O’Mara, Jason Butler Harner, Javon Johnson, Kyle Richards, and Nancy Silverton. With such a wide roster, the new season appears poised to juggle emotional fallout, courtroom twists, and character arcs that intersect with Mickey’s spiraling fight for justice.
Behind the camera, the creative team remains anchored by some of TV’s most respected names. David E. Kelley, who originally brought Connelly’s books to the small screen, returns as executive producer. Ted Humphrey, who developed the series for Netflix, remains one of the show’s guiding voices as executive producer and co-showrunner. This season, he continues to lead the series alongside co-showrunner Dailyn Rodriguez. Michael Connelly also returns in an executive producer role, helping guide the adaptation of his novel and keep the series aligned with his long-running literary universe.
Rounding out the list of executive producers are Ross Fineman, Barry Jossen, Tana Jamieson, Matthew J. Lieberman, and Gladys Rodriguez. The series continues to be produced by A+E Studios. Season 4 will plunge viewers deeper into Mickey Haller’s world than ever before, transforming the attorney from a sharp-tongued defender into a man racing to escape a conviction of his own. With enemies closing in from every side and the justice system stacked against him, the upcoming season is going to bring a mix of suspense, emotional stakes, and courtroom drama that fans of the franchise have come to expect.
