Will the ‘Masked Singer’ be on tonight? Much-anticipated finale delayed over Trump’s speech
It all ends tonight on 'The Masked Singer,' as the finale is set to reveal the winner and hidden identities behind the carefully curated masks. The highly anticipated finale, though, has suffered a minor setback and will no longer air continuously for the East Coast fans. The episode, like many other shows on network TV, will be interrupted by the President's address scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. ET on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Donald Trump will likely talk to the nation regarding the ongoing Iran war. The address will supposedly take 20 minutes, during which many shows, including 'The Masked Singer', will be suspended.
As previously planned, the show was supposed to end with a two-hour finale at 8 p.m./7 p.m. CT on Fox. The network confirmed that the first hour of the finale will air on time, after which, news coverage will begin at 9 p.m. ET. If the address concludes in the expected time frame, the second hour of the finale will resume from 9.20 p.m. The delay implies that the finale will also close out later than previously scheduled. The show will announce the Season 14 winner and conclude at around 10.20 p.m. It is important to note that the address will only affect East Coast viewers. Those on the West Coast will be able to enjoy the finale without any interruptions. Apart from 'The Masked Singer, ' other shows that will be impacted by this address are 'Survivor' and 'Chicago Fire.'
Four hopefuls have reached the finale of 'The Masked Singer,' namely Cat Witch, Crane, Galaxy Girl, and Pugcasso. The audience already knows Cat Witch's identity as she was revealed to be Kylie Cantrall at the beginning of the show. However, the panelists, Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Rita Ora, and Robin Thicke, remained in the dark. The show's official Instagram account shared a glimpse of the judges being shocked as they learned about 'America's Insider.' The clip also teased a big twist, revealing that the voice filters will be removed as the contestants speak to the panelists after their performance. Khalid and Jessica Simpson will also appear on the show to deliver in-person clues about masked contestants.
A YouTube post by the show revealed the songs the Top 4 will belt out in the finale. Cat Witch will perform "Greedy" by Tate McRae and "Leave (Get Out)" by JoJo, while Pugcasso will dazzle with "True Colors" by Cyndi Lauper and "Sussudio" by Phil Collins. Crane, on the other hand, will win hearts with "Together Again" by Janet Jackson and "Impossible" by Shontelle, and Galaxy Girl will sing "Try" by P!nk and "Good 4 U" by Olivia Rodrigo.
