Instead of the familiar faces of the housewives- Jen Shah, Mary Cosby, Lisa Barlow, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, Heather Gay, and Jennie Nguyen- you will be greeted by reruns of 'Below Deck'. Why is 'RHOSLC' not airing this week?
'RHOSLC' has gone on a one-week break on account of the Holidays season. So, you don't have to wait for too long to catch up the Salt Lake City housewives delivering us some amazing drama, as they will be returning on Sunday, January 2, 2022.
What to expect when 'RHOSLC' returns?
'RHOSLC' Season 2 Episode 1 titled 'The Miseducation of Mary Cosby' will feature Whitney throwing a huge, extravagant party for her Wild Rose rebranding despite her financial struggles. The episode will also feature Jennie confronting Mary over her tone-deaf comments during the Pho lunch. Mary complimented Jennie's "slanted eyes", which understandably left Jennie upset. In the sneak-peek clip released by the network we see Jennie attempting to explain how that term can be offensive towards Asians, but unfortunately, it looks like Mary wasn't willing to learn as she can be heard saying that she likes Jennie's "slanted eyes".
Aside from the Jennie and Mary drama, you can also expect to see some bubbling tension between best friends- Meredith and Lisa. Although we will have to wait until the episode airs to know why the two housewives are locking horns. Jen will continue to question who her true friends are amongst the group of ladies. We can't wait to catch up on all the drama in the upcoming episode.
