Jessica Albert might be the third stew on 'Below Deck' Season 9, but all eyes are on her. Ever since she set her foot on luxury superyacht My Seanna, Jess never shied away from expressing how she loves being by herself and working solo, so when the chief stew Heather Chase was splitting responsibilities amongst the crew team, Jess immediately seized the laundry duty.

Jess declared that she absolutely loved doing laundry and wouldn't mind handling all the guests and crew's laundry for the rest of the charter season. Although Heather and first stew Fraser Olender were a bit surprised with her enthusiasm toward laundry, they happily relegated it to her, so that they could focus on service and housekeeping. Things were going pretty smoothly until Captain Lee Rosbach complimented Jess's laundry service. This rubbed off Fraser the wrong way as he felt that Jess didn't pull her weight in carrying out crew responsibilities and was always moping around. Fearing that the crew morale might take a hit, Heather decided to switch things up and put Fraser on laundry duty and reassigned Jess to service and housekeeping duties. Unfortunately, this move ended up backfiring as Jess was more miserable than ever and began contemplating leaving the yacht.

Jess was so unhappy with her new responsibilities that she committed a host of mistakes, such as using the same towel to wipe down toilets and sink. When fans watched her commit this huge faux pas, they immediately took to Twitter to call her out for her disgusting act which could be classified as a health code violation. A fan tweeted, "Did anyone notice Jess cleaned the bidet and then immediately cleaned the bathroom sink with the same cloth. Ugh! #BelowDeck." Another fan wrote, "Jess isn’t thriving in this role but Heather is also not a good leader. Also using the same towel you wiped down a bidet with on a counter is a health code violation #BelowDeck." "Did Jess just wipe the toilet with a towel and then take the same towel and wipe the sink down ? #BelowDeck," questioned a fan.

Fans felt that Jess should be let go of for her poor and unmotivated attitude towards her stew duties. A fan shared, "#BelowDeck #Jess is slumpy, miserable, unmotivated, and needs to be replaced. She doesn’t suit this job at all. All she does is roll her eyes and complain.." "I don’t think Jess is a good fit for a stew honestly. She isn’t even trying to interact with the guests like all of the rest have no matter if they were 1st 2nd or 3rd #BelowDeck," seconded a fan. "Did Jess actually say she wasn’t going to be a maid??! YOU’RE A STEW!!! why are you here??!! #BelowDeck," wondered a fan. "Why did Jess apply to be a stew when she hates everything about it with her gut? #BelowDeck," added a fan.
