'New Amsterdam' Season 4 Episode 16: Will Iggy date Trevor? Tyler Labine teases TROUBLE

The previous episode, directed by Eggold focuses on his return to New Amsterdam to set Veronica Fuentes (Michelle Forbes) straight, but then realizes he needs help and in the process applies to work a private clinic and gets most of the old gang back. Lauren (Janet Montgomery), Claude (Andre Brake), Agnes Kao (Christine Chang), Gladys (Megan Byrne), and Casey (Alejandro Hernandez) are all part of the new hospital now and only time will tell how they'll get the better of medical director.

Eggold shed light on the proposal. “I think in Max’s mind, whether he proposes or not or where they’re going, he’s kind of there emotionally,” he told TV Insider. “I think there’s really nobody else for him and he’s totally head over heels in love with this woman and I don’t think he sees the future without her at this point.”

The new date for the new episode will be April 19. With alternate programming in the meantime, the episode will be delayed for a good month. The following week will see the premiere of the Josh Duhamel and Renee Zellweger series 'The Thing About Pam'. The true-crime series will run through March with six episodes airing on NBC. The official synopsis reads, "The scripted series is a detailing of the 2011 murder of Betsy Faria, which resulted in her husband Russ' conviction. When his conviction was overturned, the crime set off a chain of events that would expose a diabolical scheme deeply involving Pam Hupp."

'New Amsterdam' will return April 19 at its usual 10 pm ET time slot in April.
