TULUM, MEXICO: 'The Bachelor' Season 28 star Daisy Kent broke up with Joey Graziadei just before the finale rose ceremony, recognizing that Joey's affections lay elsewhere.

Daisy dumped Joey before the ABC show star had the chance to potentially reject her.  Despite Joey's anticipation on the beach, Daisy had already ended the relationship. She told Joey, "I know that you came into my life for a reason. You showed me how important it is to know my worth."

Daisy elaborated, "Falling in love with you has been so fun, and I do love you. But the thing is, you're not going to choose me." With tears in her eyes, Daisy confessed that in the last couple of days, she had realized that Joey wasn't the right match for her, and vice versa. Both Joey and Daisy broke down in tears.

Joey appreciated Daisy and claimed, "You don't understand how special you truly are. It hurts so much that I know I have something special with someone else." The ABC show star added, "This has been the hardest thing I've ever had to do because I know how much I'll miss you." However, the viewers trolled Daisy for dumping Joey.

A social media user posted, "Daisy showed up to dump him. I’m so annoyed rn." Another added, "Daisy when she shows up to get broken up with and decides to dump him instead." "You can’t be dumped if you break up with them first," stated another user.

Another critic noted, "I’ve really been a Daisy fan up until now. Everyone is nervous. Don’t go trauma dump and ruin the other woman’s experience. It shouldn’t have been allowed."  One user wrote, "They’ve been hyping up what ended up being the most drawn out, girlbossified break up." Another viewer suggested, "That has to be the worst breakup I’ve ever seen on this show."

Joey Graziadei meets Daisy Kent for the first time after Final Rose

'The Bachelor' Season 28 star Joey Graziadei got engaged with Kelsey Anderson after breaking up with Daisy Kent. However, Joey disclosed that he hadn't crossed paths with Daisy since the final rose ceremony. Joey and Daisy met for the first time in the 'After Rose Ceremony' amid their dramatic breakup.

Daisy told Joey, "I'm so happy for you, and all I ever wanted was for you to be happy." ABC show host Jesse Palmer asked Daisy when she knew Joey wasn't going to pick her. Daisy elaborated, "I first realized when we were at the last rose ceremony when Rachel left." She claimed that she started to see something special when Joey and Kelsey looked at each other.

Joey admitted he was more aware of his words during his final date with Daisy and appreciated the "love and understanding" she had given to him and Kelsey. Daisy noted, "Walking away was really hard, but sometimes the hard thing is the best thing." The ABC show star further noted, "It was the best thing for all of us."

Jenn Tran was announced as the 'The Bachelorette' for 2024. However, Daisy appeared to turn down the opportunity stating that she wasn't ready for it at the moment.

During the 'After Rose Ceremony' session, Jesse Palmer asked Daisy if she was ready to open up again to find love. Daisy revealed that the last year has been very eventful for her. She tearfully said, "I'm happy and I'm healthy and I haven't had those two things for a very long time." Daisy asserted that her current priority is to focus on herself and the people she cares about, expressing her reluctance to pursue dating at this time.
