AGOURA HILLS, CALIFORNIA: 'The Bachelor' Season 28 contestant Daisy Kent recently addressed her health scare during her first one-on-one date with Joey Graziadei. She emotionally revealed her cochlear implant to Joey.

Joey took Daisy on a helicopter ride to a music festival. Daisy was quite anxious about whether she would be able to hear Joey, whom she hadn't told about her condition just yet.

The ABC show contestant revealed during the date that she started losing her hearing as a result of contracting Lyme disease. Daisy started losing her hearing when she was 15. She was eventually diagnosed with a disorder of the inner ear called Meniere's disease at age 17.

Daisy was later confirmed to have Lyme disease, which she believed caused Meniere's disease, at 21. Daisy's revelation didn't affect Joey and he seemed to be more attracted to her. He also awarded a rose to Daisy.
