SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH: 'Dance Moms' star Kaeli Ware currently resides in Salt Lake City after leaving Washington DC. She is all set to star in 'Dance Moms: A New Era' alongside her mother Gloria Hampton. She will help her mother choreograph younger dancers for the National championship.
Kaeli is a talented dancer but she recently faced a setback in her career after a foot injury. She was 14 years old when she fractured her foot. Since then, she has been struggling with the injury. However, Kaeli finally decided to have foot surgery in July for her injury.
Kaeli has to take a temporary hiatus from dancing and she will not be able to put weight on her foot for two months. She has revealed in a lengthy Instagram post that she hasn't danced in 4 months, and has to take this next season off. The latest hiatus marked the longest she has ever gone without dancing since she was 18 months old.
'Dance Moms' star Kaeli Ware reflects on risky foot surgery
'Dance Moms' star Kaeli Ware has recently taken to her social media and reflected on her 'risky' foot surgery. She shared that her doctors determined that she had an avulsion fracture last year. Kaeli explained, "Meaning I had a ligament that was constantly pulling part of my bone away and detaching it from itself."
Kaeli noted that the severity of my case made it impossible to heal her foot injury permanently on its own. She further revealed on July 9, "Yesterday I had surgery, where they had to take healthy bone from my hip and use it to fuse the bones in my foot together. they placed screws and metal plates to ensure it stays intact."
Kaeli called the surgery 'very serious' and 'risky' for a ballet dancer. She claimed that the surgery was one of the 'hardest thing' that she had gone through adding, "but i know that my chances of success are 100% greater than they would be if i didn’t get the surgery. i can’t wait to come back stronger than ever," she wrote on her post.

'Dance Moms: A New Era' star Kaeli Ware is a professional ballet dancer from Virginia. She was just two years old when she graced the dancing world with her extraordinary moves. She has been trained in all styles of dance under the direction of Troy D Brown and her mother, Gloria Hampton.
However, she received weekly training from legendary Arthur Mitchell, who referred to Kaeli as "his rubberband" for the rest of his life. Kaeli became the youngest dancer to be accepted in the pre-professional division at the American Ballet Theatre JKO School at the age of 9.
Kaeli rose to international fame after starring in 'Dance Moms' alongside her mom. Although fate didn't favour Kaeli for her starring role and soon left the Lifetime show franchise. She went on to star in 'So You Think You Can Dance' and 'World of Dance'. She has received a series of prestigious awards throughout her dance career.
