Whoopi Goldberg snapped at Alyssa Farah Griffin after she refused to talk during a tense moment on the show. The topic of discussion in Monday's episode was a mass shooting in Texas. While everyone talked about it and shared their opinions, Alyssa Farah Griffin was the last one after Goldberg. While it was getting close to the show going on an ad break, Goldberg asked Griffin to express her opinions about the mass shooting in Texas. When Griffin refused to, Goldberg shouted, 'Spit it out' three times, and after that, flustered Alyssa told Goldberg, "Don’t worry, it’s too long to explain, so."

What was the riff between Whoopi Goldberg and Alyssa Farah Griffin?
'The View' hosts were discussing control after the latest mass shooting in Texas, and after everyone had shared their perspective and thoughts on the matter, there wasn’t much time for Alyssa to jump in before the commercial break. But, Goldberg was pushy and kept getting impatient, while asking her to "spit it out". Alyssa appeared to clash and just told Goldberg that it was "too long" to get out at that moment.
This isn't the first time Alyssa Farah Griffin made a glaring mistake
During a recent episode of 'The View', Priyanka Chopra Jonas was on the show to promote her movie 'Love Again'. Speaking to Priyanka, Alyssa said, "Let's talk about your new movie Love Again. We all watched it this weekend, it was so much fun." The show host continued with, "I mean you have Sam Heughan co-starring in it, your husband Nick Jonas makes a cameo in it, which is hysterical, but what I didn't know is Celine Dion is such a big character in it." While for some, the chat between Priyanka and Alyssa was a normal chat, but some fans were quite offended at how Alyssa made a grave mistake by mispronouncing an actor's name. Alyssa pronounced "Heughan" like it were the word "Hutchon." The correct way to pronounce the actor's last name is "Hew-on." And as we all know, fans are quite vocal about their opinions and took to social media to let the world know.

One user took to Twitter to express how journalism is all about research and said, "Certainly would help if you pronounced Mr. Heughan’s name correctly. Research is always helpful!!!" while another user wrote, "@Alyssafarah screwed up Sam Heughan’s name." One user pointed out with, "Poor preparation Alyssa."
