Whoopi Goldberg and Jamie Paglia will be co-writing the upcoming graphic novel, ‘The Change’, according to ScreenRant. This news has been a shocking revelation, but maybe Whoopi has decided that her skills might be put to use in a more productive way, away from the camera, and onto a piece of paper. Whoopi’s official Instagram account revealed the cover of ‘The Change’ and it looks a lot like Whoopi has a superhero! The comments on this Instagram post have been mostly positive, ranging from fans writing “Can’t wait!” to another fan trying to guess what ‘The Change’ will be about as they write, “Is it about menopause? One has to be a superhero when dealing with it.”
Well, fans might not be wrong about menopause because as per ScreenRant, ‘The Change’ revolves around Isabel Frost – a mother, wife, and grandmother, who realizes her life has become stagnant but things change after she experiences menopause when Frost finds herself developing new abilities and powers!
We can see a few glimpses of Whoopi in ‘The Change’, but will only be able to tell if this story is inspired by her own life, or just women around her when we get to read ‘The Change.’ While everyone has certain feelings about Whoopi’s career shift to writing graphic novels and immersing herself in the comic book world, one can’t help but wonder what this means for her existing career.
