‘Big Brother’ Season 28 Week 7 gets messy as Dee faces a tough nomination decision
‘Big Brother’ Season 28 Week 6 ended with Kamu Kirk going home, followed by the unexpected beginning of Week 7. It started with Dee Valladares winning the Head of Household (HOH) competition and taking over her second reign as HOH. After becoming Week 7 HOH, Dee nominated LaTrice (aka Lala), Drew, and Taylor for the upcoming nomination. Previously, fans saw how HOH Yash Patel accepted a $5,000 BB Bribe in exchange for keeping Devens and Dee safe if he won a future HOH competition. That’s why Dee did not nominate Yash despite him having nominated her during his HOH reign.
Live feeds also revealed Taylor confronting Dee. In the HOH room, Taylor asked Dee why she nominated her. She asked whether there was a new alliance with Lala and wondered whether her recent unexpected closeness with Haley was also part of another alliance. While Angela was also there, she did not answer the question and also pointed out that she was not the current HOH. As for Dee, she said she nominated Taylor because other housemates had been saying her name. Later, Taylor went downstairs, confronted Melody, and accused her of plotting against Angela. But Melody refused to admit to it.
For Week 7, the Veto competition was an ‘80s-themed test of fitness. With Lala being a gym enthusiast, it was to her advantage, as she won the Veto competition. It was her second competition win of the season. So, at the upcoming Veto meeting, she will use it to save herself from the upcoming eviction. As a result, the current HOH, Dee, will have to choose a replacement nominee instead of Lala. It will be interesting to see who Dee chooses for the upcoming nomination. Since she has already made a deal with Yash and several of her allies are there as well, whoever she chooses as a replacement nominee will make herself a target.
Notably, Drew has also won the BB Time Capsule for Week 7, so there’s that. He earned the benefit “Never-Not Pass,” meaning he won’t need to be a Have-Not for the remaining season. So far, evicted housemates from the BB House are Ashley, Rome, Jason De Puy, Lyric, Chuk, and Kamu.
