'Survivor' 50 Episode 7 Recap: One contestant's torch is snuffed as the first jury member is revealed
The recently released 'Survivor' 50 Episode 7 featured the remaining 14 castaways fighting to stay in the game. After heaps of scheming and plotting, Aubry Bracco, Benjamin "Coach" Wade, Chrissy Hofbeck, Christian Hubicki, Cirie Fields, Dee Valladares, Emily Flippen, Joe Hunter, Jonathan Young, Ozzy Lusth, Rick Devens, Rizo "Rizgod" Velovic, Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick, and Tiffany Ervin cast their votes at the latest Tribal Council. The host, Jeff Probst, then revealed the results, and Dee Valladares was sent home after she received the most votes. She also became the first jury member after this week's elimination. 'Survivor' 50 Episode 7, titled 'That’s Not How I Play Survivor,' turned out to be one of the most intense episodes of Season 50. It started with some of the cast members reflecting on the recent eliminations of Colby and Genevieve.
While Jonathan, Coach, and Dee had a falling out, a few castaways were concerned about Coach’s gameplay. After the immunity challenge, the cast members attended the latest Tribal Council at night. With Jeff Probst present, Emily shared that they experienced conflicts amongst themselves after the Blood Moon twist from the last episode. Further, the host asked Emily about the fallout, and she replied, “I’ve never seen a tribe so tense as the morning after the Blood Moon. I mean, there was loud fights, quiet fights, there were fights that we’ve had which were from just looking at each other. Just about every form of conflict you could imagine happened just this morning.” Earlier, after losing the challenge, Aubry and Dee were concerned about where they stood in the game. With both Jonathan and Coach wanting to push the two towards elimination, things had been quite tense.
Dee felt she was not safe in the upcoming elimination; however, she also mentioned that there were contestants in the game who were “way scarier” than her. She shared that “the people that feel safe tonight, they should be scared.” Later, Aubry moved forward with her idol and saved herself. As a result, any votes against her were not considered. Dee, who had “nothing to lose,” went ahead with her Shot in the Dark, but it didn’t work in her favor as it said, “not safe.” After the castaways finished voting, the host revealed the results. Dee received the most votes, followed by Tiffany and Coach. As a result, she was eliminated and sent home. While leaving the competition, she told the remaining cast members to have fun and make it a “good season.” After her exit, 'Survivor' 50 now has 13 remaining contestants.
