LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Get ready for the long-awaited return of the hit Starz comedy-drama series, 'Blindspotting'. After a nail-biting two-year break, the show is back with another season packed with fun and excitement. The creators behind the series are none other than Daveed Diggs and Rafael Casal, who were also responsible for creating the debut season. They've brought their genius screenplay to the small screen, spinning a sequel that picks up where the last season left off. Joining them is the talented Jasmine Cephas Jones, who leads the show's incredible ensemble cast. Who stars in 'Blindspotting' Season 2?

Jasmine Cephas Jones

Jasmine Cephas Jones heads the cast of the show and returns as Ashley Rose, the main protagonist. Jones began her acting career on stage, performing in numerous off-Broadway productions before making her Broadway debut in 2015, where she played Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds in the smash-hit musical, 'Hamilton.' Her performance earned her critical acclaim and a nomination for the Lucille Lortel Award for Best Featured Actress. 

Jones dated Anthony Ramos in 2015, and reportedly ended their six-year relationship. The split followed speculation that Ramos visited a strip club with another woman in November 2021. A viral TikTok video did not name Ramos but prompted users to raise his name in the comments section. The video featured a dancer claiming to have witnessed two people being 'all over each other' at the nightclub, with the man later identified as Ramos. On the other hand, in addition to her stage work, Jones has also made notable appearances on television, including recurring roles on the hit series 'Girls' and 'Midnight, Texas'. She has also appeared in several films, such as 'Titus' and 'Mistress America'.



 

Atticus Woodward 

Atticus Woodward is an essential part of the show as he portrays the pivotal character, Sean, in the TV series 'Blindspotting' Season 2. Woodward's outgoing personality and striking appearance made him a natural star from a young age. He began his entertainment career at two years old, booking commercials and print campaigns for brands such as Guess Kids and Old Navy. Despite his busy schedule, Woodward enjoys typical childhood activities and is described as having an old soul and kind spirit. Helen Hunt 

Helen Hunt plays the role of Rainey, Miles’ mother. Helen Hunt is a popular actress, director, and producer who has been active in the entertainment industry for over four decades. She is best known for her award-winning role as Jamie Buchman in the hit television series, 'Mad About You' and for her Academy Award-winning performance in the film, As Good as It Gets'. Hunt has also appeared in a wide range of films and TV shows, including 'Twister', 'Cast Away', 'The Sessions', and 'World on Fire.' 



 

Beside the lead actors, the cast of the second season of the series, 'Blindspotting', includes Candace Nicholas-Lippman in the role of Janelle, Margo Hall as Carol, Justin Chu Cary as Joe, Jaylen Barron playing Trish, April Absynth portraying Auntie, and Zoe Chao as Amara. Other cast members include Andrew Barrett Cox as Topher, Kevin Carroll as James, Tisha Custodio as Chris, Kathleen Antonia as Tessa, Anna Chavez as Maria, and Jesus U BettaWork as himself. The talented cast members promise to bring their unique personalities and skills to the show, ensuring that viewers are in for a captivating and entertaining ride.
