Who is Solange Kardinaly? 'AGT' Season 19 star holds unique Guinness World Record
SANTAREM, PORTUGAL: How on Earth did she accomplish that? That's the first thing fans will think of when Solange Kardinaly takes the stage for 'America's Got Talent' Season 19 on June 11.
Solange was born in Leiria, Portugal, and is part of the third generation of illusionists. Since she was very little, her life has revolved around the beautiful realm of magic.
Solange hails from a circus family and is a third-generation magician. Her grandpa and father were also magicians.
She began working with her parents when she was four years old, with wonderful illusions. One of the things that jumps out is how she incorporates illusion into her acts while using her strong voice, leaving the audience wanting to return and repeat the beautiful experience.
When Solange was seven, she had a general magic performance and appeared on various television shows. At the age of 10, she won her first award in an international magic tournament held in Portugal called Magic Valongo.
Solange acquired her first stunts from her father as a child. When she reached the age of fifteen, her magician godfather assisted her in establishing her dove routine.
After that, Solange worked on her other routines on her own, including her Quick Change number, for which she received honors and recognition. She typically performs in theaters, cabarets, evening events, and circuses all around the world, and on television.
Solange's magic styles include grand illusions, quick changes, manipulation, and general magic. She lists various magicians as references who have always impressed her, including David Copperfield, Mag Lari, Arkadio, Rick Thomas, Jason Byrne, and Lance Burton.
She thinks that each magician should be allowed to learn from expert magicians and perform magic regularly since it is a skill that deserves the highest respect. Solange admires modern magic, but she identifies more with the time when she first learned and practiced it.
There wasn't much information at the time, and magic was mostly viewed in theaters, with virtually little on the Internet, making it much more valuable! Besides magic, she enjoys singing. Solange also sings in a few of her magic acts.

In 2020, the new Volkswagen T-Cross vehicle made its Singapore debut, and she was invited to perform. On the Italian TV show 'Lo show dei record' in 2023, she beat the Guinness Record for the fastest costume change illusion in one minute.

Another record that surprised folks was by Solange from Portugal and Arkadio from Spain. The pair set a new Guinness World Record on the set of 'Lo Show Dei Record' in Milan, Italy, on March 2, 2023, for the most costume change illusions in one minute, which was 25, according to the Guinness World Records website.
They broke the previous record by one, as indicated above.

Who is 'AGT' Season 19 contestant Solange Kardinaly married to?
Solange and her husband, Arkadio José Jiménez Rodríguez, currently do a wide-ranging magic presentation that focuses on spectacular illusions.
Arkadio was born in Barakaldo (Bilbao, Spain) in 1974. His passion for magic began at the age of ten, when he witnessed, for the first time, a magician performing in a theater.
What began as a pastime eventually became a job. His professional career began when he was hired as a magician at Universal Studios Port Aventura in Salou (Tarragona, Spain).
He worked there for two years, performing the magic act "Xing Txo's Mystery". In his third year, he performed and served as artistic director of the magic performance "The Magic Legend".
When his contract with Universal Studios expired, he began preparing for a competition to travel to Portugal and compete in the "Magic Valongo" in 2004, where he received the highest honor. The following tournament was the "Magic Spanish Championship" in 2005 when he won first place in the manipulation category.
He competed in the "Magic French Championship" in 2006, winning first place in both the Manipulation and the "Audience" categories. Following this, in 2007, he received the "Mandrakes D'Or" in Paris.
He was invited to work with his show in several nations throughout the world, including Spain, Switzerland, Germany, and Italy.
In 2008, he was called to work on the famous TV French program 'Le Plus Du Gran Cabaret Du Monde', and he was then invited to participate in the prestigious competition "Magic Star," which was organized by the Monegasque family, and won the first prize, the "Baguette D'Or", which was given to him by Prince Alberto of Monaco.
Since then, he has worked on several festivals, events, and television shows throughout the world.
