NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: 'America's Got Talent' Season 19 contestant Ashlee Montague is a professional ballerina and also holds a Guinness World Record for her extreme talent. She marked her name in the world's renowned book for the 'Longest Duration Balancing Pointe on the Shoulders'.
She currently resides in New York with her partner, Richard Hanke. According to her website, She attended Rock School for Dance Education in 2008 and joined ABT JKO in a later year. She was coached by Jerome Le Baut (Ecole National de Cirque, Cirque du Soleil), Sebastien Soldevila (Director of Les 7 Doigts de la Main), and Mimi Bonnavaud (Gold Medalist Cirque de Demain) in addition to her extensive dance training.
Ballet dancer Ashlee made headlines during the pandemic when her stunning photo went viral. In the photo, she wore a gas mask while she danced in an empty Times Square. However, she is all set to bring her stirring talent to the NBC show. She has also teased her upcoming gig on her social media.

Ashlee Montague auditioned on 'AGT' Season 9
'AGT' fans could recognize Ashlee Montague as she previously competed in Season 9 of the NBC show with her husband, Richard Hankes. Unfortunately, the duo didn't make it far in the competition. Ashlee and Richard showed off their dancing and hand-balancing act to 'Too Close' by Alex Clare during the audition.
Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandel all voted 'Yes,' sending the duo through to Judgment Week. During the next round, the acrobat duo flaunted new techniques in their dancing including a backflip in the air and Ashlee standing on one foot on Richard's head. However, their performance was not the best for the qualifiers and they faced elimination.
How did Ashlee Montague meet her husband Richard Hanke?
'AGT' alum Ashlee Montague and her husband Richard Hanke first met in 2007 while dancing together at the Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia. The duo then spent most of the years training hand-to-hand and acrobatic ballet. They did long-distance for six months as Richard was dancing in Miami, and Ashlee was in Seattle.
Richard later moved to Seattle, and the duo moved to New York in 2009. The loved-up couple would soon celebrate their seventh wedding anniversary in July. Both Ashlee and Richard have been trained in classical ballet and have performed at numerous locations around the world, including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
