Who went home on ‘The Masked Singer’ 14? Only one judge guessed right before Snow Cone’s mask came off
Wednesday night’s episode of ‘The Masked Singer’ turned the volume all the way up as 'Spice Girls Night' began in full swing. The latest episode revealed that the sweet and frosty Snow Cone was none other than Heidi Montag. Season 14 Episode 7, which aired February 25 on Fox, leaned hard into nostalgia. Before the competition even got going, Rita Ora grabbed the mic and belted out ‘Spice Up Your Life,’ backed by the remaining masked hopefuls. The night’s guest judge, Taraji P. Henson, wasn’t just sitting pretty behind the panel.
She jumped in on the fun, dressed as Scarab Spice, a nod to her earlier reveal this season as the Scarab. The whole judging panel also committed to the bit. Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg channeled Baby Spice, Ora took on Posh Spice, while Robin Thicke slipped into Ginger Spice mode. Ken Jeong, never one to miss a joke, introduced himself as “Old Spice.” Then came the actual showdown. The bottom two this week were Crane and Snow Cone, and they were both tasked with performing their own take on the Spice Girls hit, ‘Stop.’ But only one of them nailed it.
Crane was declared safe, which meant Snow Cone had to step forward and peel back the layers (literally). And when it comes to guesses, McCarthy-Wahlberg threw out Heidi Montag’s name. Henson suspected Anna Faris, while Jeong floated Mandy Moore. Ora agreed it was Moore, but Thicke went in a slightly different direction, suggesting Leighton Meester. Then the mask came off, and Montag stood there smiling, taking in the applause. She is best known for being part of the hit reality TV series, 'The Hills', and seeing her on this stage, tucked inside a giant frozen treat costume, left fans shocked.
With Snow Cone officially melted, the competition tightens up. Still in the running are High Voltage, Pangolin, Eggplant, Galaxy Girl, Stingray, Cat Witch, Pugcasso, and Crane. It’s a lineup that sounds like a comic book shelf mixed with a grocery list, and honestly, that’s part of the charm. Montag now joins a growing list of unmasked names this season. So far, viewers have watched Billy Ray Cyrus step out from behind Owl, Teddi Mellencamp revealed as Calla Lily, and Claudia Oshry unmasked as Queen Corgi. Henson herself turned out to be Scarab earlier in the run. The parade of surprises also includes Tone Loc as Handyman, Tiffany Haddish as Le Who Who, reality TV duo Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley as Croissants, and baseball legend David Ortiz as Googly Eyes.
