'The Masked Singer' Spoilers: The Raccoon eliminated and revealed as Danny Trejo, here are clues you missed

The Raccoon was eliminated from 'The Masked Singer' Season 5 and revealed as 'Machete' and 'Breaking Bad' actor Danny Trejo. The 76-year-old took the stage by storm during his introductory performance on the show leaving everyone in a frenzy of sorts. It was clear that he was not a 'singer' but his antics left everyone on their toes, dancing along to the song 'Wild Thing' by the Troggs that he performed in his gravely voice. 

There were a number of celebrities that the judges Nicole Scherzinger aka Detective Scherzy, Jenny McCarthy, Dr Ken Jeong, and Robin Thicke guessed as the person under the mask. Celebrities like Sanny Hagar, Gary Busey, Mike Tyson, Danny DeVito, Nick Nolte, and Joe Pesci. But fans of the show were sure that it's none other than Danny Trejo under the mask and turns out they were correct the whole time. Here are all the clues you might have missed.

In his first clue package, the Raccoon talked about being locked up in prison for his misdoings. He wasn't innocent but he made a promise to God that he'd get on the right path and do good for people if he made it out of the situation he was in and continued to make good on his promise ever since then. The Cluedledoo also revealed a special clue about the Raccoon saying he was known for being sharp. 

During his second appearance on the show during episode 3 titled 'Group A Wildcard Round -- Enter the Wildcards!' a new clue package revealed that he had been a wrestler. "I actually started out as a fighter. My uncle taught me how to box and I trained harder than anyone. Then one day I became a champion," he said. The Raccoon also said that he was no longer a wrestler but then he was hired to train a superstar to box but in the end, it was him who ended becoming the star. "I had no business being a big Hollywood movie star. But hey, no one's stopping me!" he said. 



 

All clues about Raccoon point to Danny Trejo

In the first clue package, Danny had mentioned about how he read the book 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame' and how he related to the character of Quasimodo. He said the only difference separating him from the character was that his lack of innocence. Before he became famous, Trejo spent close to 11 years in and out of prison and one of the charges was grave to a point that he was about to face capital punishment for it. However, he prayed to God and made it out of the prison and did exactly what he had promised the almighty that he would do. 

About the cluedledoo's clue of the Racoon being smart, Trejo has always acted in films that are named after sharp objects including 'Navajas', 'Machete', 'Razor Charlie' in the 'From Dusk Till Dawn' series, and Cuchillo which is Spanish for a knife in 'Predators'. 



 

Danny was also hired on a $320 per day salary to train Eric Roberts for a boxing scene in the 1985 film 'Runaway Train'. Director Andrei Konchalovsky liked Trejo's work and decided to offer him a small role in the film as a boxer. Did you catch all the clues? Let us know in the comments below.
