LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Nathan Griffith's wife Mayra Oyola also called May Oyola is arrested for domestic battery after her alleged fight with former 'Teen Mom 2' dad.
It seems legal issues are never-ending for Nathan as he is always webbed in legal battles.
In the past, he had been violent towards his sister and even his ex-girlfriend, Victoria. This time it's his wife May Oyola who got in serious trouble.
On Monday, The US Sun reported the incident. According to the court documents, the reality star's wife was charged with 1st degree battery following her arrest on Saturday, January 6.
The charging documents stated that this was May's first offense and thus she was released on her recognizance.
She was helped by a Spanish interpreter during the hearing. Her bail included a 'stay out of trouble' condition with the hearing set for February 2024.
When did 'Teen Mom 2' dad Nathan Griffith marry May Oyola?
Jenelle Evan's ex-fiance Nathan Griffith secretly tied the knot with May Oyola.
Nathan revealed via Facebook on Friday, May 6, that he married May Oyola. However, he deleted the post soon.
However, the duo secretly tied the knot on April 30, 2020, in Miami Beach, Florida according to court documents.
The pair also received their marriage license soon. Not much is known about May Oyola, except that she was born in Argentina and moved to Miami later.
She likes music and is a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. The wedding came as a shock to many.
Nathan was previously engaged to Jenelle Evans with whom he shares a son Kaiser, had a tumultuous relationship. The pair called it quits in spring 2015 after Griffith was arrested for domestic violence.
They gave their relationship a second chance in August 2015, however, they did not work out.
The pair reached a custody agreement in October 2020 where Jenelle would have their son Kaiser's custody while Nathan could have him on the weekends.
'Teen Mom 2' dad Nathan Griffith arrested for domestic violence
Former 'Teen Mom 2' dad Nathan Griffith was arrested and charged with a felony count of domestic battery by strangulation on February 24, 2023.
Even though many assumed it was against his wife, May Oyola, the alleged victim was Nathan's girlfriend a 32-year-old woman named Victoria.
Nathan called his brother-in-law William and admitted to choking Victoria and even drugging her up.
William informed Delray police and reported the incident. Police arrived at the scene and deemed Nathan as 'uncooperative'.
Nathan said that they were physically intimate a few moments ago. Nathan had scratches on his neck and back. Victoria was initially reluctant to say anything but later stated Nathan was physically aggressive with her and then she blacked out.
The officer observed thick bruising on her neck and jawline. Nathan was released the day after his arrest and a no-contact order with Victoria was placed on him.
Nathan Griffith assaulted his sister Heather Griffith and threatened to kill her
Nathan Griffith strangulated his sister Heather Griffith and even threatened to kill her in July 2023. The police report stated that his sister had 'visible' red marks on her neck and redness on her eyelids for choking her in anger. Heather was scared and frantic when she described what her brother did to her.
She mentioned he grabbed her by the throat pushed her down on the kitchen floor then got on top of her. Heather felt as if she was going to die as he was choking him. Heather somehow pushed him away and rushed out of the room.
Nathan was thus charged by police at the Clark County jail on a charge of battery by strangulation. Nathan spent several days in the jail before he was released on bail.
