Who is Emma Grede's husband Jens Grede?

Jens Grede is a Swedish businessman who is best known for being the co-founder of the Kim Kardashian-owned shapewear brand SKIMS. Prior to making his big splash in the shapewear sector alongside Kim, Jens dreamt of being a professional skateboarder. But he had to put his skateboarding dreams aside and work at an interior design magazine called Wallpaper. During his time at Wallpaper, Jens met fellow Swede Erik Torstensson.

The duo went on to work together on several business ventures including their London-based marketing agency called Saturday Group (which has since been renamed as Wednesday Agency). In 2012, they launched Frame, a denim brand that was popularized by Karlie Kloss. Thanks to the instant success of the brand, Frame expanded into men's wear and according to Business of Fashion, the company had a turnover of a whopping £60 million in 2016.

Jens and Emma reportedly met while they were working at Saturday Group. The duo were together for four years before they tied the knot in 2012. Emma tasted success when she became the CEO and co-founder of Good American, alongside Khloe Kardashian. The Kardashian connection came in handy. In 2019, Jens joined hands with Khloe's older sister- Kim Kardashian to launch their shapewear brand SKIMS. Despite getting off to a rough start owing to the infamous KIMONO name courtesy, SKIMS managed to quickly become a huge game-changer in the shapewear domain.

Aside from Kim's SKIMS, Jens also teamed up with Tom Brady to help launch his own apparel line- 'Brady' in January 2022. While speaking to Financial Times, Jens said, "It took around five years with Tom, from the initial conversations to the product development. It’s no longer enough to just make a great product; you need a point of view. These people all come with incredible, unique storytelling. But whoever you are working for, you have to believe in the strength of what you are creating. Fame, of course, is a great accelerator."

Emma and Jens currently reside in a beautiful Los Angeles home with their four kids.

'Shark Tank' Season 14 airs every Friday at 8/7c on ABC.
