‘Masked Singer’ Season 14 promo drops and fans are already guessing who’s behind Saturn mask: ‘Is that...’
The first promo for ‘The Masked Singer’ has dropped, teasing exciting details for the upcoming season of the fan-favorite Fox singing competition. According to ScreenRant, Nick Cannon returns as host, joined by panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and Rita Ora. The promo was shared on the show’s official Instagram on December 2, with the caption, “Nothing shines brighter than the talent on this show! Don’t miss the Season 14 two-hour premiere of #TheMaskedSinger, Wednesday, Jan 7 on Fox!”
The latest promo for ‘The Masked Singer’ revealed some exciting details about the upcoming season, including several new costumes. In the clip, host Nick Cannon teases, “We're gonna start off with a bang,” before fans get a glimpse of some of the new masks. Season 14’s lineup includes a planet with a ring like Saturn, a scarab nettle, an ostrich, a black cat, a mechanic made of tools, a red panda, a carrot, a stingray, an eggplant, a colorful dog, and two croissants.
It seems like there can be two celebrities hiding their identities beneath the croissant costume, with one of them being male and another one being female. For the unversed, there hasn’t been a costume with more than one person since Season 12 of ‘The Masked Singer.’ Back in the day, the famous R&B duo Boys II Men emerged as the winners of the show as the Buffaloes. The promo also featured a text message that read, “Only one show has this much star power. 94 million records sold, 21 platinum singles, 3 Emmy wins, 3 Hall of Famers, 3 World Series. Wins, 54, 438, 800+ Instagram followers.”
At the end of the promo, Saturn can be seen performing ‘Try’ by Pink, marking the first singing voice revealed to the public for ‘The Masked Singer’ Season 14. Fans have already started speculating about who might be behind the Saturn costume. One social media user commented, “Is that Miley Cyrus?” Another wrote, “There are no words to describe how excited I am for season 14. I know it will be amazing!!! Also, the voice sounds like either a rock singer or a country singer.” A third quipped, “The Saturn costume sounds like Zooey Deschanel.
