Who is Chris Geagon? Gordon Ramsay slams 'MasterChef: Generations' Season 14 contestant's 'under-seasoned' dish
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'MasterChef: Generations' Season 14 introduced Baby Boomers during the second round of auditions, and Christopher Geagon participated in the competition. However, he had to confront some harsh criticism from Fox show judge Gordon Ramsay.
The Fox show cook is a 60-year-old personal trainer from Florida, known as Geags among his friends. Originally from Swansea, Massachusetts, he now calls Holmes Beach, Florida, home. Geags attended Joseph Case High School and later pursued his education at Springfield College in Massachusetts. He is also recognized as a fitness entrepreneur.
During the audition, Geags shared, "Everything things that Baby Boomers eat and cook very unhealthy... a lot of cream a lot of butter but I don't live like that." He claimed to be "very very into health and fitness." He played baseball, hockey, and football when he was young. He has been a personal trainer for over 30 years.
Geags believes in the quote, "Your visions can become your reality💫." He recently auditioned for the culinary competition but failed to impress the critic. Geags prepared pan-seared salmon with Mango Chutney, Sautéed Spinach, and Jasmine Rice. The presentation of the dish was simple, and the salmon was cooked properly. However, Gordon gave a hard no to the contestant as other elements of his dish were deemed 'under-seasoned'.
Did Christopher Geagon earn the 'MasterChef: Generations' Season 14 apron?
Despite Gordon Ramsay rejecting Christopher Geagon aka Geags, the amateur cook received the white apron. Geags will now compete with Millennials, Gen Z, Gen X, and other Baby Boomers in the thrilling challenges of 'MasterChef: Generations' Season 14.
Geags is known for his healthy lifestyle, which is reflected in his cooking as well. Aarón Sánchez praised the chutney and the salmon that Geags served the judges during the audition, while Joe Bastianich also enjoyed the contestant's dish, granting him the last yes. Geags broke down in tears after winning the prestigious white apron.
