'The Bachelor' 2024 star Joey Graziadei is close to his sisters

TULUM, MEXICO: 'The Bachelor' Season 28 star Joey Graziadei has a strong relationship with his sister, Carly Monzo. Joey's elder sister is the resident relations coordinator at an assisted living facility in Audubon, Pennsylvania.

She attended West Chester University of Pennsylvania and graduated in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in social work. According to her LinkedIn, Carly has also studied at California University of Pennsylvania.

She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Zach Monzo, since July 2021. Although she has been supportive of her brother Joey's ABC show journey, she appeared to put some last-minute doubts in his head.

In the finale episode of 'The Bachelor', Carly said, "What if he proposes to someone and they say no." Joey appeared to have second thoughts about the process but managed to control his emotions.

Further in the episode, Carly met Kelsey Anderson and claimed to Joey that she seemed more hesitant about marriage than Daisy Kent did in her answer. Joey admitted, "That's scary to hear that."

Meanwhile, the viewers called out Joey's sister for potentially sabotaging his connections. A social media user tweeted, "'What if he proposes to someone and they say no' DO NOT PUT THAT INTO THE UNIVERSE JOEYS SISTER." Another person added, "Arrggh, now Joey’s sister is setting up a potential heartbreak. This can’t be good, can it?"

Another critic noted, "Nooo Carly no don't mess this up." Another internet user said, "Here comes the poison sister." Another viewer penned, "No not the sister sabotaging Kelsey."

Joey Graziadei revealed during 'The Bachelor' Season 28 premiere that he had been living with his sister Carly and his brother-in-law, Zach Monzo.

The ABC show star shared in a podcast interview, "[She] lives just down the street from where we kind of grew up." He added, "I'm there. I’m not sleeping on the couch. I've got my own room. But it's nice. I think there's so much going on with all of this."

Joey elaborated, "I'm moving around so much that it didn’t really make sense [to settle down somewhere] before all of it started."

However, Joey went back to his home in Hawaii after his 2023 'The Bachelorette' appearance but decided to remain closer to his hometown.

He shared, "I lived in kind of a little studio in Hawaii that was kind of in the woods." Joey added, "When I came back from The Bachelorette, all of the creatures moved in. I didn’t need to have that happen again."
