'The Bachelor' Season 28 star Joey Graziadei eliminated Maria Georgas

AGOURA HILLS, CALIFORNIA: 'The Bachelor' Season 28 star, Joey Graziadei, made his selection of the top three suitors, presenting roses to Daisy Kent, Kelsey Anderson, and Rachel Nance. Joey eliminated Maria Georgas during the Hometown Rose ceremony despite the connection and fans were surprised with his decision.

Joey and Maria have experienced a whirlwind romance during their time on the ABC show, despite multiple allegations against the contestant and the 'bullying' drama. Despite the challenges, Joey consistently chose Maria over other female contestants until now.

During the rose ceremony, Maria pulled out Joey for a conversation which appeared to be her worst decision. However, after she returned to the group, Rachel was visibly furious at Maria and asked, "What was that about?" Maria insisted the conversation was nothing serious and she just needed to convey her feelings.

Despite Maria's effort to win back Joey, he gave his last rose to Rachel and the viewers called him out over his decision. An X user posted, "I’m surprised that Joey kept Rachel over Maria BUT she’s definitely a good candidate for Bachelorette."

Another person added, "Don't see anything romantic with Joey and Rachel. I'm surprised she edged out Maria." Another critic noted, "I’m honestly surprised Joey chose Rachel over Maria… when I tell you my mouth hit the floor, it hit the mf FLOOR."

Rachel Nance admits to falling in love with Joey Graziadei 

Rachel Nance initially faced challenges in connecting with Joey Graziadei at the start of 'The Bachelor' Season 28. However, she eventually bagged her first one-on-one date with Joey and managed to reach her Hometown date. In the latest episode, Rachel admitted her true feelings to Joey and claimed that she had been falling in love with him.

She shared, "I'm definitely falling in love with you and I see a future with you." She added, "Of course, I want it to be us at the end." Joey had similar feelings for Rachel and shared, "I'm so happy with where we're at." Additionally, Rachel made it clear that her parents' skepticism didn't impact her feelings for Joey.

Joey Graziadei sparks doubts about Maria Georgas

Joey Graziadei expressed frustration over Maria Georgas not openly sharing her true feelings. In the previous episode, Maria had voiced doubts about her connection with Joey and expressed a desire to leave the ABC show.

However, during the Hometown date, Joey told Maria, "I want to have zero doubts walking into that house that you want to be here with me and you can see a future at the end of this." He added, "I just want to feel confident."

Maria assured Joey that she would not back out again and said, "I don't want you to think that I’m ever going to do that again." Additionally, she shared with Joey that she had never brought anyone home to meet her family.

Joey was left shocked by Maria's revelation and questioned, "How has she gone this long in life without like, opening up to someone and showing this side of herself?"

'The Bachelor' Season 28 airs episodes every Monday at 8 pm ET on ABC. Further, it is available for streaming on Hulu the following day.
