Joining the '1000-lb Sisters' stars Amy and Tammy Slaton is their brother Chris Combs who became an instant hit with the wide fanbase of the show. So far in the show, Tammy Slaton was fired by her doctor after she failed to lose weight and ended up heavier than she was during her previous weigh-ins at the clinic.

To keep Tammy from losing confidence in herself completely, Chris decided he would be joining his sister in her journey for weight loss and that he too would switch to healthy eating. Apart from being the supportive sibling for Tammy, he was also seen giving some tough love to Amy who was going off the wagon with her food cravings and pushing it on her pregnancy.

This coupled with his positive attitude and a very humorous outlook for everything has helped establish him as a fan favorite.

Why hasn't  Chris Combs managed to lose weight his entire life?

Chris Combs has always been around food his entire work life. He started as a Trabajador at one of America's largest producers of protein-centric food products, Tyson Foods. Later on, he moved to work in the kitchen at McDonald's. He joined the fast-food chain in 2008 and has been there ever since. In the trailer, Chris admitted that he's had trouble refraining from eating what he cooked his whole life.

"The struggle is real. You are used to eating a five-gallon bucket of food at once and you cut down to a plate. So hangry is the real sh*t," he said "At the last doctor's appointment I went in, the doctor said I had to lose 15 pounds. Dieting sucks because I am used to eating everything I cook. I am a manager at a fast-food restaurant, if I am at work there is food around me," he said.
