Who is 'Doubling Down with the Derricos' new star Amani?
Amani is the potential new addition to the Derrico family. With the possibility of being Christopher Turner's son, Amani's arrival brings mixed emotions to the Derricos. In the show's trailer clip, he can be heard through a voice message saying, "My name is Amani. Your brother Chris could possibly be my dad." As he talked through the webcam with Deon and GG she asks him if he will be up for a DNA test to which he is heard confirming and agreeing to do a DNA test. Meanwhile, the secrecy of his identity has been maintained and he has not revealed himself to the public eye.
Who is Deon Derrico's brother Christopher (Chris) Turner?
Previously, there were discussions about Chris, who was believed to be the brother of Deon. It was rumored that Chris had a son named Amani, who might have a potential storyline in the show's upcoming season. He was the son of Eddie Derrico and Marian Derrico who separated after a year of their marriage. He was also a real estate investor along with his brother Deon. Unfortunately, tragedy struck when Chris was found dead in his residence in Detroit in January 2022.
