LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA:  'The Voice' Season 25 is all set to air on Monday, February 26, at 8 pm ET on NBC. The second episode is scheduled to air on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 8 pm ET on NBC, with subsequent availability on Peacock the following day.

NBC's reality TV singing competition, 'The Voice,' showcases a panel of four celebrity coaches. The coaches for the season are Dan + Shay, Reba McEntire, John Legend, and Chance the Rapper.

Tasked with critiquing performances and mentoring their teams of singers, these coaches guide contestants throughout the season until only one competitor remains. The ultimate victor, along with their coach, is then crowned as the season's winner.

Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine, and Christina Aguilera served as the inaugural coaches for The Voice, which debuted in 2011. The other coaches who have appeared on the show, include Kelly Clarkson, Shakira, Usher, Pharrell Williams, Miley Cyrus, and Nick Jonas.

In Season 25 of 'The Voice,' Chance the Rapper is set to make a return following his highly praised appearance in Season 23. Reba McEntire will be embarking on her second season, while John Legend will be marking his ninth season as a coach.

Niall Horan and Gwen Stefani are bidding farewell to their position as judges. In Niall's first season as a coach, he and Gina Miles won 'The Voice'.

However, the former One Direction member will not be returning as a coach for Season 25 due to his commitment to embark on his concert tour, The Show: Live on Tour, scheduled to kick off in February 2024.

Who are the coaches for 'The Voice' Season 25?

The hit NBC competition series is all set to introduce the first-ever coaching duo Dan + Shay, while also bringing back a fan-favorite coach, Chance the Rapper. John Legen and Reba McEntire are the returning coaches for 'The Voice' Season 25. 

Dan + Shay

Dan + Shay, the dynamic American country pop music duo, consists of vocalists and songwriters Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney. Signed to Warner Records Nashville, they have achieved notable success with the release of five albums, including 'Where It All Began,' 'Obsessed,' 'Dan + Shay,' and 'Good Things.'

Among their nine singles, five have topped the Hot Country Songs chart. They have collaborated with iconic singers Justin Beiber, Charlie Puth, Kelly Clarkson, Lindsey Stirling, and many more.

From 2019 to 2021 the duo won three Grammy's for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for the song 'Tequila', 'Speechless' and '10,000 Hours'. 

The duo will be gracing the red chair of 'The Voice' Season 25 for the first time.

Dan Smyers in an interview with Variety when asked about 'The Voice' Season 25 stated, "Yeah, we’ve already started with it, man. We’ve gotten to shoot a little bit of it. It’s two chairs, but one button, and they’re connected. It’s one big platform. It’s a spectacle. We’ve worked with them a lot. You know, we were mentors for Blake — um, for Blake’s team."

The duo made their debut in 2021 as Blake Shelton's battle advisors. Additionally, the newcomer coach Dan + Shay graced the Season 24 finale with a captivating performance.

John Legend

John Legend is a highly acclaimed American singer, songwriter, actor, and record producer. Boasting an impressive musical career, he has secured twelve Grammy Awards and received three nominations.

In addition to his musical achievements, Legend has also been honored with an Emmy Award, a Tony Award, and an Academy Award, solidifying his status as an EGOT winner.

As a skilled actor, he appeared in the Oscar-winning filming La La Land and starred as Jesus Christ in Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert, broadcast live on NBC in 2018.

In Season 25 of 'The Voice,' John Legend will mark his ninth appearance as a coach. Having initially joined the show in Season 16, Legend's coaching prowess was evident as he secured victory in that very season with Maelyn Jarmon.

Reba McEntire, born in 1955 in Oklahoma, is an accomplished American country music singer with a string of awards and accolades to her name. Nurtured in a musical environment from a young age, she embarked on her journey in Nashville in 1975, securing deals with record executives to launch her impressive career.

The iconic artist has achieved remarkable success, boasting sales of over 75 million records and more than 100 hits on the Billboard Hot Country charts. A seasoned veteran in the music industry, she has been honored with numerous accolades, including seven Top Female Vocalist Awards from the Academy of Country Music.

She has also appeared in several television shows and movies. Her association with 'The Voice' began in Season 1 when she served as a Battle Advisor to Team Blake Shelton.

She later made her official coach debut in Season 24. Notably, McEntire assumed the role of Mega Mentor in Season 23, showcasing her multifaceted contributions to the acclaimed show.

Chance the Rapper is a young hip-hop star and producer deeply engaged with social activism. His popularity soared on streaming platforms, ultimately earning him a Grammy Award. The mixtape "10 Day" played a pivotal role in shaping Chance's trajectory, establishing him as a burgeoning hip-hop artist.

By then, his name had already been featured in Complex Magazine's '10 New Chicago Rappers to Watch Out For' section. Additionally, Chance and Childish Gambino collaborated on the track 'They Don't Like Me,' recorded and published in 2012.

As a result, Chance was invited to open for Gambino on his upcoming tour. Simultaneously, he dedicated his efforts to crafting 'Acid Rap,' his subsequent project, which he generously released for free download in 2013.

Despite receiving numerous contract offers from record labels, Chance opted to remain independent. Finally, in 2015, he unveiled 'Coloring Book,' featuring the hit single "No Problem."

The song garnered approximately 60 million hits on one platform, and in 2017, Chance received three Grammy Awards, propelling his hip-hop career to new heights. Beyond his musical achievements, Chance has emerged as a highly successful social activist in recent years. In 2017, he donated $1 million to Chicago Public Schools.

In a bid to offer the citizens of Chicago an independent media channel, Chance purchased the Chicagoist news website in 2018. Chance the Rapper swiftly gained popularity as a fan favorite upon joining 'The Voice' for Season 23.

His wit and humor, combined with his dynamic musical instincts made him an exceptional addition to the musical show. Additionally, he also took on the role of a mentor in Season 24.
