TULUM, MEXICO: 'The Bachelor' Season 28 star Joey Graziadei decided to get engaged to Kelsey Anderson during the final rose ceremony. The engaged couple are now ready to move in together and shared their relationship update during the ABC show's 'After Rose Ceremony' special episode.
During the episode, Joey revealed that he had been living with his fiance Kelsey at her New Orleans house. Joey enjoyed his time with Kelsey and also met her family. The ABC show couple had drinks at Molly's at the Market and also shared a kiss on a bridge at City Park. Kelsey reflected on the couple's future plans and shared, "I think eventually, we're moving to New York this summer."
Meanwhile, Joey claimed it's been hard to keep their love a secret and they're so excited to be together and in love in public now. While proposing to Kelsey, Joey said, "I'm so lucky." He added, "I hope you understand that I feel like the luckiest guy in the world. I cannot wait to see what comes next... and that we get to spend the rest of our lives together."
Joey Graziadei gushes about Kelsey Anderson's presence
'The Bachelor' Season 28 star Joey Graziadei reflected on his relationship with his fiance, Kelsey Anderson. During the After the Final Rose ceremony, Joey talked about saying "I love you" to only one person and notably at the very end, "Because this is it. This is it for me." However, Kelsey claimed that she didn't find waiting to hear the magical words very difficult because Joey was reassuring and she believed his actions.
The ABC show star also admitted that she couldn't wait to watch the emotional proposal back adding, "It's all a blur." Joey also complimented Kelsey and noted, "She is a light. ... She gives energy fully, and I don't know how I'm going to have a boring day in my life with her." The ABC show star added, "I definitely feel [my mother's] presence," Kelsey said. "I definitely think that she's smiling down on us right now."
Kelsey Anderson tearfully accepts Joey Graziadei's final rose
Joey Graziadei dropped to a knee and asked Kelsey Anderson to marry him. Kelsey broke down in tears before saying 'yes'. While proposing to Kelsey, Joey said, "I can't wait another minute to tell you that I love you." He added, 'There is something about you. You have this infectious energy that makes me smile. It's a feeling I've never had before."
Joey further admitted that he knew "during this time that we built a very strong flame and the only reason I know that flame will never go out is because you are my light." 'The Bachelor' star also shared that he had known for a while that he wanted to have a 'beautiful life'. He added, "But I truly didn't know how beautiful that life could be until I met you."
