The emotional revelation occurred as Joey took Daisy on a helicopter ride to a music festival. Feeling anxious about her ability to hear, Daisy decided to share her personal journey with Joey, unveiling her cochlear implant. She hadn't disclosed her condition before, and this was a vulnerable moment for her.

Daisy explained that her hearing loss began at the age of 15 due to contracting Lyme disease. At 17, she was diagnosed with Meniere's disease, a disorder affecting the inner ear. It was later confirmed that Daisy indeed had Lyme disease, which she believed contributed to the development of Meniere's disease by the age of 21. Despite the revelation, Joey showed understanding and support, seemingly more drawn to Daisy. To cap off the date, he awarded her a rose, indicating his continued interest in her and appreciation for her openness about her health journey.
