Just like the show, ‘Battle on the Beach’, HGTV’s forthcoming house renovation series ‘Battle on the Mountain’ revolves around three teams of individuals who compete to renovate as well as redesign seaside homes in a race to win a grand prize.
This battle is all set to take place in the mountains. In the debut season of the show, three teams are dealing with mountainside house flips 13,000 feet above sea level in Breckenridge, Colorado.
Throughout the HGTV series which spans over 6 weeks, the teams will take on different unexpected challenges. Every team will focus on one portion of the house. The space of the house includes a dining area, kitchen, main bedroom, bath, living room, guest suite, bonus guest room, and the exterior.
The upcoming real estate series is all set to drop on January 22, at 9 pm ET on HGTV.

What is ‘Battle on the Mountain’ all about?
'Battle on the Mountain’ is a home renovation competition series where three teams will be competing against each other while being mentored by some of the brightest stars of HGTV.
At the end of every challenge, the judges take a look at the spaces to determine the winner of the week. They will analyze the renovated homes. The team that manages to boost the value of their home will walk away with a grand prize of $50,000.
The first episode of the show has been titled ‘Kitchen Clash'. The premiere episode follows three mentors Rico Leon, Kim Myles, and Kim Wolfe who provide their assistance to three teams of aspiring renovators.
As per the name of the episode, this battle revolves around the kitchen, and judges Chelsea DeBoer and Cole DeBoer are all set to pick the winning team.
The title of the second episode is ‘Main Suite Showdown'. In this particular episode, the contestants go mining for their main suite. The teams are ready to compete to get a hold of their main bedroom and bath.
All the contestants must give it their all and face a host of challenges to impress judges Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson.
The third episode has been named ‘Living Room Reimagined'. Things get tense in the competition as teams compete for the living rooms.
Teams place their bets on their instincts as they are asked to put their antique store finds into their design. Then, the judges Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson pick up who bags the cash prize of this week’s $3,000.
