LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'American Idol' Season 22 Episode 7 is set to air on Monday, April 1 at 8 pm ET on ABC. Judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie will continue to narrow down the best singers by eliminating aspiring performers.

The aspiring singers performed during Idol Arena for Hollywood Week. In a surprising twist, the judges revealed that contestants didn't know when they would be called up to the stage until the moment arrived during the episode. The Platinum ticket winners, Abi Carter, Julia Gagnon, and Odell Bunton Jr. kicked off the Hollywood week with a cover of California Dreamin.

However, Hollywood Week proved to be emotional and stressful as multiple contestants forgot the lyrics during their performances. Although some of them got a second chance to impress the judges, most of them had to return home heartbroken.
