When is VIXX making a comeback? Leader N sheds light on reunion

N aka Hakyeon shared that all of the VIXX members recently got together and talked about a comeback

VIXX was one of the biggest boy groups of the third-gen. They had several best-selling albums, topped charts in South Korea, as well as global charts like Billboard. The K-pop group even had several sold-out tours and won at the likes of Golden Disc Awards, Seoul Music Awards, AAA and Gaon Chart Music Awards. They also dabbled in other fields as they became Goodwill ambassadors for the Salvation Army and were torchbearers for the 2018 Winter Olympics. 

With the members’ military enlistment, VIXX's last full comeback was in 2018 while they released a few singles in 2019. The members expanded their solo careers like leader N aka Hakyeon and Hyuk becoming actors while Ravi launched two of his own labels - GROOVL1N and THE L1VE. While two of the members have yet to enlist for their mandatory military service, all of VIXX are currently active. And so, fans have been wondering when they can get a reunion before the next member enlists.

N talks about VIXX’s comeback

Well, while promoting his new K-drama ‘Bad And Crazy’, leader N talked about VIXX. During a radio interview with MBC, Hakyeon was asked about his group’s reunion and whether fans can expect a comeback soon. He revealed, “Recently, we met and ate together. We also discussed a lot about VIXX. The current pandemic made things a lot more difficult to go as we expected.” N added that they had talked about what fans wanted to see from them and since they hadn’t come back in a long time, they had to consider everything so that they can show their best sides to fans.

N also joked that Ravi had contacted him before the interview and his mission was to get Ravi on the radio show as a guest. The interviewer added that the two VIXX members could come together the next time. N also shared that the youngest member Hyuk had also contacted him and commended him for his hard work on ‘Bad And Crazy’ which made him emotional. N added, “I always thought that Hyuk would be a little kid forever, but hearing him thinking of me and supporting me like that made me feel grateful.”

‘I’m going to cry’

Happy fans made tweets like, “One step closer to a comeback (hopefully).” Another posted, “Hakyeon talking about VIXX and the members and saying he wants to have an offline fanmeeting I'm going to CRY.” One fan joked, “Kpop is so boring now, Vixx needs to make a comeback.” Another asked, “But where are the pictures of that get-together mr. cha.”
