HBO’s ‘House of the Dragon’ took a ten-year time jump to give viewers an idea that the relationship between Princess Rhaenyra and Lady Alicent has gone from bad to worse. In the very first scene of the episode, we saw Alicent demanding to see Rhaenyra’s baby just minutes after she gave birth to her third child. Rhaenyra (Emma D'Arcy) didn’t want to take any chances and took the baby to Queen’s chambers herself. As soon as Alicent looked at the baby, she knew that it was not Ser Laenor’s baby and told him to keep trying.

On the other hand, Prince Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) is now married to Lady Laena Velaryon (Nanna Blondell) and they are living in Pentos. Laena is riding Vhagar, the biggest dragon in the ‘HOTD’ universe, and is pregnant with her third child as well. She doesn’t want to live in Pentos because she believed that their children need to know about their own kingdom. But Daemon is not too keen to return to Westeros because he wants to be away from all the politics.

The episode ended with the death of three major characters that will surely change the course of the series. However, fans will hope that the series won’t take a big time jump like that again because it can be a little frustrating to adjust to the new storylines. So, when will Episode 7 air on HBO and HBO Max? Take a look.

What day and time will ‘HOTD’ Episode 7 air on HBO and HBO Max?

There hasn’t been any change in the show’s schedule since the beginning and as of now, the upcoming episode is planned to premiere on HBO and HBO Max on Sunday, October 2nd, at 9 pm EST. The first season of the ‘Game of Thrones’ prequel consists of 10 episodes and will air its finale on Sunday, October 21.

HBO has released a teaser for Episode 7 and looks like the differences between Alicent and Rhaenyra will reach to a point where they are ready to exchange blows in a bloody fist fight. According to the promo, it seems King Viserys has finally died and it’s time for the heir to take her responsibilities. However, we saw Rhaenyra and her entire family leaving Westeros and shifting to Dragonstones so that they can be away from all the mess.

Meanwhile, Ser Otto Hightower will be returning to the kingdom to offer counsel to his daughter. As per the books, Alicent, Otto and a handful of other people will make a plan to not tell Rhaenyra about her father’s death so that they can make Aegon the new king. It’ll be interesting to see when Rhaenyra will get to know about her father’s death because that was the first step toward the civil war. Will she get to know about the death in Episode 7? Or HBO will take some time to build up the tension. Nevertheless, we are in for a cracker of an episode next week and the Targaryens are ready to take each other down.
