'Welcome to Plathville' Season 4: Moriah says Max did more than kiss another woman

Micah and fans weren't convinced about what happened between Max and Moriah and turns out, they were right to be suspicious

Season 4 of 'Welcome to Plathville' has seen the Plath family going through a lot of changes. They are certainly a far cry away from what fans remember on Season 1 of the show and it looks like this time around, the change is here to stay. But, not all of it might be for the best.

While Ethan and Olivia's marriage seems to be healing, Kim and Barry are going through a rough patch, as Kim is rediscovering herself. With Micah in LA and Moriah in Tampa, each of the Plaths have something going on. However, it hasn't been smooth sailing for Moriah, who is still grappling with heartache.

'Welcome to Plathville': Is Micah Plath dating someone new?

Moriah and Max's breakup has been a focal point all season, as Moriah has truly been struggling to move past it. With Ethan and Olivia unsure about how to help her, they called in Micah to help, seeing that the siblings are far closer than she is to Ethan. Moriah joined Micah and traveled to LA, for a change in scenery, but not before Micah met with Max to go over what happened. As per the story Max told him, he did get close to another woman, but it was no more than a kiss. Micah was suspicious about the events but didn't probe for further information and fans also agreed that there was probably more to the situation than Max and Moriah were letting on. And turns out, they were right to suspect so. Morah later opened up to Micah, telling him that there was more to the situation than just a kiss and that Max had in fact cheated on her. To make matters worse, Moriah also noted how Max kept projecting on her, as he felt that her dressing a certain way was to gain attention. Moriah has always defended her right to dress how she wants, stating that she does it for herself and no one else. For Max to have thought otherwise was a reflection of his attitude and not about her. 

Fans were on Moriah's side and called out Max on social media. "Oh, so Max lied. He did the dirty with the other woman. Moriah, chalk it up to a learning experience and put him in your rear view. Oh, and tell Lydia the truth. He might try to put the moves on her. #welcometoplathville" tweeted a fan. "Lying , cheating Max SMH. #welcometoplathville But there were red flags from the beginning" added another. "Gorl. You are 19. My ex did far worse shit to me mentally. You’ll get over it. One day you’ll get to the point where you’re like “he can get hit by a semi and I won’t give a shit” and you’ll be ok #WelcomeToPlathville" said a fan. "Moriah…NEVER allow a man to define your worth. #welcometoplathville" said another. "Max didn’t let Mariah around guys but as soon as she left he goes and cheats… big surprise #welcometoplathville" tweeted another. 

'Welcome To Plathville' Season 4 airs on Tuesdays at 10 pm ET/PT on TLC.
