Usher announces 2022 Las Vegas Residency: Dates, tickets and everything you need to know

Dolby Live stage will be designed specifically to allow attendees 'an up-close and personal experience with the superstar'

It's going to be a fun and exciting summer in Las Vegas as Usher has announced a Las Vegas Residency Summer aimed at giving his fans an immersive experience.

The eight-time Grammy-winner is set to headline a new Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM beginning Friday, July 15, and will continue till October. It will consist of 23 shows in total.  The production, which is being designed specifically for the Dolby Live stage, will reportedly feature “audience interaction” and make use of the entire theater space, giving attendees “an up-close and personal experience with the superstar”.

Following Usher’s sold-out, dynamic 20-show run during his first Las Vegas residency last year, it appears the King of R&B is ready to do it all over again. This second residency is being advertised as “BRAND NEW” as Usher wrote in all caps on Twitter and guaranteed amazing performance with amazing facilities to provide fans with the best experience. 



 

The dates of the show has been announced and they are; July 2022: 15, 16, 20, 22, 23, 27, 29, 30, August 2022: 26, 27, 31, September 2022: 3, 4, 9, 10 and October 2022: 14, 15, 19, 21, 22, 26, 28, 29.

Tickets for shows between July and October will go on sale Friday, February 25 at 10 am PT. Fans can also access pre-sale tickets by texting (404) 737-1821 to “join Usher’s community,” according to the release. The prices for a normal seat start at $79.

But there is so much more than Usher's show will offer. The normal VIP seat price starts around $400 with extra tax and the premium VIP ticket price cost around $10000 with extra tax charges. Platinum Tickets and Platinum Seats are ticket-only offers and are not associated with VIP Packages and Experiences. More information about the ticket can be found in Ticketmaster.

For VIP seats, there are various other facilities. There are options for Ultimate Premium Banquette and Premium Banquette facilities.

In announcing his residency, Usher joins a growing list of artists to establish regularly scheduled Las Vegas performances in 2022, along with the likes of John Legend, Adele, and Katy Perry.
